one should ensure that the child should get a proper balanced diet which contains all types of nutrients essential for growth.
any kind off infection specially any chronic infection should be ruled out and treated which may hamper the grocwth otherwise.
after 2 years of age you can give some powder like kids Pro/ prohance junior mix in milk twice a day for one or two months.
