Q.

#AskTheExpert PCV vaccination 1st dose is given to my daughter at govt hospital.they said the 2nd dose will be given after 2 months.i feel it is given after 1 month.please suggest.

A. you are correct Pneumoccocal vaccine should be given at 6,10, 14 wks and booster at 15 months of age  Pneumoccocal vaccine is a optional vaccine but always better to give.  It give protection against  Repeated tonsills infection, repeat sinus infection, throat infection, pneumonia, ear infection etc  Can go with any brand all are equally good and effective.

A. after a month my pediatrician recommended you can follow your pediatrician.. update the baby details in first cry vaccination tracker to get details regarding upcoming vaccination and also set reminder take care
