#AskTheExpert paediatrician sir kindly opine regarding cradle cap. does it go away on its own or some special shampoo/oil needs to be used

A. your child is having cradle cap or seborrheic dermatitis. you have to daily apply baby shampoo on the scalp of the child dd during the bathing. do not apply any type of oil on the scalp during the daytime but only apply oil at the night time. within one week the cradle cap will disappear. cradle cap is baby dandruff and is a type of fungal infection

A. hello mum it will go away on its own nothing to be worried massage well on your baby daily with the coconut oil or castor oil that will help to reduce nothing to be worried it will go of it doesn't go please visit the pediatrician
