#asktheexpert nipple extraction and how to do it for the proper latching? as my wife's nipple are not extracted enough and child is not able to latch on it.

A. There are commercially available instruments where the retracted nipple can be everted:Also, try to massage the nipple area a little bit and try to make it pointy towards the outside so that the baby can suckle.if No matter what you do the baby is not able to feed then express the milk and feed through a bottle for the time being and in between keep exposing the baby to breast-feed
