#AskTheExpert my toddler refuses to eat after his viral fever... although his fever is gone now it has been 6 days but still he does not wants to eat anything... I force fully give him Ors and that's it nothing else .

Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamic acid preparations.
cold sponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .Baby immunity and growth can be taken care of by g GAiving a proper diet with all the nutrition required for proper growth of the child .
vitamin C, zinc, iron and vitamin D has key role in this.
Multivitamin syrup like syp full 365 can be given 5 ml twice a day for 1 to 2 months.
