Q.

#AskTheExpert My son will be turning one this month. When we try to make him walk,he walks a few steps and then refuses and sit down. However he is very active and walks quickly on knees, also climbs up and down the stairs, but a bit laidback to walk How much time do babies take to walk?

A. In this here it is very difficult to comment properly until a proper examination or assessment is done to find outju the exact cause so it is advisable to consult your doctor so that he could examine and evaluate properly and will guide you accordingly for this .

A. walking with support will come any time between 9 months to 15 months of age. walking without support will come maximum by 18 months of age so before that there is no need to worry and you have to just continue regular diet of the child( food made from cereals pulses fruits veggies milk) as well asx baby massage and regular massage will also help in improving the muscle strength which will help in walking. regular encouragement for the child to walk
