#AskTheExpert My son will be traveling in flight for the first time.He is 18 month old so as a precautionary pls suggest any medicine or caution to avoid ear pain ,if occurs

As a correct approach, it is necessary to get a consultation done with your nearby doctor once before startciying any kind of medicine, for knowing about the proper indication,dosage of the medicine and duration upto which dose needs to given in a proper way. Self medication may be harmful and may not resolve the problem for a long time.
