#asktheexpert My son took the DPT vaccine on 20th February.But he has lump on his thigh.still it does not dissolve.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. after painful vaccines administration they can cause swelling in the limbs which cans continue for more than two months also. it does not require any treatment and should go away on its own. after vaccination immediately you should start applying ice as well as thrombophobs gel to prevent such swellings from persisting
