POOJA KOTHARIExpecting Mom due in 1 month3 months agoA. If your 3-month-old son’s left eye looks smaller sometimes and tears more than usual, it might be due to a common issue called nasolacrimal duct obstruction (blocked tear duct). This can cause watery eyes, slight swelling, or occasional eye droop but usually improves on its own as the tear duct opens up. You can gently massage the area near the inner corner of the eye with clean fingers to help drainage. Keep the eye clean with a soft, damp cloth. If redness, swelling, discharge, or persistent symptoms occur, consult your pediatrician or an eye specialist for proper evaluation and treatment.
