#asktheexpert My son keeps putting his hands in mouth and even spills out a lot of saliva. Any help? TIA

A. it's normal and a. sign of dentition. teeth eruption can make baby cranky as it s painful . Drooling saliva , hard gums , and a cranky baby are signs. Can massage baby gums well for ease. Can use teether silicon or wooden for baby . Maintain hygeine of teether . Can be given vitamin d3 from birth till 1 year of age 1 ml 400 IU or 0.5 ml if 800 IU daily .
