A. hii Hi. My daughter is 32 months old is almost the same since the time she got viral fever and cold cough She is also throwing whatever she gets in her hand if things are not as per her wants and way and she also raise hands and shouts go go away . For few days I didn't understand and over reacted on this behaviour..bt then studied a lot and got some conclusion A. Whenever my baby starts throwing tantrums or things or starts hitting ..whatever I m doing I stop and make her calm by soft speach hug and smile saying I understand let me hug u and I hug her.. After few minutes she calms down and stops crying with this Jadu ki jhapi.. then I say I understand u got upset bt can u pls share wat made u upset..and she started telling me the reason and then I try to find a way out to answer her and make her understand And trust me things which she threw like today ka episode she threw beads and then she threw pom pom both she helped me to pick up and keep it at its place.. The idea is to understand why such behaviour from toddlers by making them calm down Its not that I don't face statements like aur chada sir par..ya teri jaise poddadi i.e. dhili aurat buna usko bi baat baat par roye n bla bla . It's okay..family may go against saying all this .bt I hav noticed lil changes by talking and hugging the child during the melt down . Eventually if kid is angry and we get more angry kya faayda yaar.. I too had listen some really bitter statements today..felt lil bad too but let it go because u want your child to start sharing their thoughts problems from this age.. Pls try warm hugs some kisses and some affirmative talks
