#AskTheExpert my son is suffering from constipation, and he can't take any food. during poty he is very crying, his weight is also getting low. plz help me what can I do now???

Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies andf also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 mjonths . you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose sugfgested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .

NikithaMom of 2 children2 years agoA. hello try to give your child fibre rich food in the diet and also include fruits well especially banana and papaya which can help baby get releif from the constipation and also make sure to give water after every solids and keep child well hydrated with fluids
