Q.
#asktheexpert my son is falling sick frequently.either cold or cough is affecting him. he recently diagnosed with influenza virus.after that he is getting frequent cold and cough

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. regular cough and cold in children are most commonly associated with allergy which might be due to weather changes on temperature variations.
many times simple cough and cold is followed by secondary infections.
it is very common that children will have a recurrent cough and cold as well as fever befored 7 years of age and after that a proper immunity is developed and then this problem will go away.
get the child vaccinated for flu vaccine which will again help in decredasing this problem

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. So you have to take a proper treatment if you are aware that it is an influenza virus so the doctors are going to advise with the proper treatment and also would recommend you to get the influenza vaccination done as that’s going to be important
