#asktheexpert my son is eleven months old he’s having cold for the past one week. I am giving syrup but it’s not helping. what to do ?

Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated . Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine . As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful . Medicinegus like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .u Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

NikithaMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. hello you can be giving saline drops and also use instant rub from babyhug which is effective and in regards for the medicine it would be better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you r accordingly
