#asktheexpert My son is 8 days old and has biliburin level of 16.60 .Do we need hospitalisation and Phototherapy?

A. hi dear Newborns have tiny tummies and need to feed frequently. Most spend a lot of time sleeping, but they'll wake up every few hours to feed during the day and night. Most newborns feed every 2-3 hours, and they have around 8-12 feeds every 24 hours.
