#asktheexpert My son is 7months old and weight is 5.4kg..He has developed a bad cough and throat infection .The doctor has suggested Maxtra drops and Levolin syrup for cough 2.5ml..Is Levolin safe for a 7month baby?Should I go with the advice?

Medicine is saved the problem is not medicine the problem with the dosage it is extremely high 2.5 ML is too much for a seven month old child and wear your child is underweight as per the age this is definitely not correct so you should consult the doctor again for the correct amount of medicine to be given
