#AskTheExpert My son is 3 months old. He passes urine more than 20 times a day. Still he is demanding for feed every 1.5 hrs. Does that mean the milk supply is low?

ExpertRicha SharmaNutritionist4 years agoA. hello dear good morning with the babies passing urine so many times in a day then definitely the milk supply is not low you can feed the baby and make the baby satisfied and the feeding can be done with the gap of 2 hours

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr old girl4 years agoA. Hi dear good morning Babies should pee around 8-10 times a day and sometimes even 15-20 times. depending on the weather it would be more or less. During night hours they pee less or sometimes they don't. If it's less than eight times then baby isn't hydrated well or could be other issues that should be checked with your doctor. Feed your baby every 2-3 hours once during the day time that's more important and also during night hours feed every 4-5 hours. Night hours it's fine to leave baby sleep for a while. Have spinach, jeera water, fennel, fenugreek, mothers horlicks is good for lactation, garlic pods You can have bread with milk, rice with milk, dry fish, mutton, carrot, oats, almonds, have plenty of water, the more you allow your baby to suck the more milk you can provide, you can also have lactare tablets which is very effective.
