#asktheexpert My son is 2 years and one month old. But he has not started speaking yet. He only make some noises but do not speak proper words. Do we need to worry?

A. definitely it is advisable to meet a medical practitioner who will examine the child for development as well as growth milestones DEVELOPMENT by the age of 2 years the child should be able to speak few words with meaning in the sentence and should be able to understand all the commands and orders given by the parents and if you feel that they are not present in your child it is important to meet your pediatrician to assess the growth milestones of the child and whether there is any need of therapy or not
