#asktheexpert my son is 2.6 yrs old he is not able to speak ,not to much eye contact . please suggest what should I do .

A. In this here it is very difficult to comment properly until a proper examinationig or assessment is done to find out the exact cause so it is advisable to consult your doctor so that he could examine and evaluate properly and will guide you accordingly for this .

A. to improve speech -read different books to the child -talk to the child daily routine like the child understands you with regular eye contact -singing songss and rhymes -while talking repeat what your child says with right pronunciation and do not criticize the child -avoid screen time(tv mobile laptop). leave permit the child to watch the activities that allow to improve his language -take your child outside (open environment) and have a talk with the child regarding the things around the child -introduce new words gradually for proper understanding -speak about things child is interested in.
