A. To increase the weight of child, include fatty and protein rich foods in the diet like rice, eggs, chicken, fish, ghee, pumpkin, banana, sweet potato, milk shakes with dry fruits, cereals, legumes, potato, avocado, rice water and 500-600 ml milk daily. Feed 3 main meals fully and 2-3 times healthy, home made snacks. Keep him well hydrated with water, fresh juices, buttermilk and coconut water.
