Q.
#AskTheExpert my son is 17 months old but still he doesn't chew food. If I try to feed him chapati or paratha he keeps it in his mouth and tries to melt it by keeping it on his tongue. so i used to feed him only Dalia,daal rice,oats,sooji kheer,sabudana kheer and etc of similar texture.please suggest me how I can teach him toh chew so that I can give him paratha and chapati as normally we eat.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl3 years agoA. be patient and check for brain growth . it is not possible to comment on this as it is difficult to say with out examination and so get examination done for the same and then can be done about this .
