If I try to engage him in the activities, he is not giving much attention as he is kore interested in running all over and play with his favourite toys. Can you please suggest what should I do to engage him in the activities or what I can do to make him sit and focus?

Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months . child can start saying simple sentences by two years of age . just make the child comfortable and do more interaction with the child so that he can learn to speak sentences properly. if the speech does notu comes even by three years of ageu you need to consult your doctor fvor a proper assessment of the child .
