Mom of a 5 yr old boy4 years ago
Q.

#AskTheExpert My son is 10.5 months old. He is hitting all his physical milestones and is a happy, active child. Smiles, laughs in response, recognises people, has recently learned to kiss when asked. I am worried about his verbal skills though. He makes a lot of sounds while playing. Lots of Ooo-Aahs, some consonant sounds like ba, ka, ga, va. He has even said Amma, Appa, Avva, Buvva ...but it's very rare, like once in a few days. is this normal ? I was hoping he would start making double consonant sounds like ba-ba, ma-ma by now and make sounds more frequently.

A. if all the milestones are good then no need to worry as per this what you have mentioned here the issue appears to be normal and fine not to worry about as this is normal and fine so no concern about this at all
