Q.

#asktheexpert Hello Sir, I have a query about my 10 months old baby boy and I hope you can clarify it for me. My boy has started hitting his head with his hand and sometimes even slaps himself in the face. Is it normal? Otherwise he is active. Couple of weeks back when he got his 9th month vaccine, he didn't even cry a bit. Although I am happy, him hitting himself and sometimes our family members is making us concerned

A. such type of behaviour always decreases with increasing age of the child and it is very common behaviour at this age. with proper diversion and getting the child ezzngaged in another things will help in decreasing such behaviour. meet your doctor for more advice and also share the video of such behaviour with the doctor. also see that the child is not having iron deficiency because that can aggravate this behaviour
