#AskTheExpert My son in 3 years old and he doesn't eat anything by himself until I force him to eat. how do I make him eat by his own?

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician3 years agoA. baby is only 3 years old try positive reinforcement techniques to modify the behaviour of baby. maintain hygiene in the area clean with Luke warm water maintain hydration and keep a track on urine output

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy3 years agoA. If he is a normal eater, then you could make him sit on a high chair and encourage him to eat by himself. Give him food items that are easy to grasp by spoon/hand). If he doesn't eat, then you have no choice but to feed him till the time he wants to eat by himself (by 7 yrs they would be ready to eat on their own).
