Q.

#asktheexpert my son he is 4 year old.. he won't chew any food... how do i do to make him chew properly..

A. Hello Mom I too faced the same problem with my son who is 4.4 years old now. u won't believe it's been only 6 months he has started chewing some food products. and the relatives or others inturn blame mom's that v d should have made a habit long back. any way. don't worry. I followed some steps hope they help u as well. 1. don't directly start giving him solid food which u all eat at home. coz u all may like but he may doesn't. 2. I know it's wierd to say. but I suggest u to give him 1 piece pizza or burger (preferably home made and cover in a aluminium foil or something so that it looks as if it's brought from shop) and give him. I did the same with my son. and it worked. 3. chop watermelon in to tiny pieces. and give with fork

A. hi dear mom.. introduce more of finger..let him pick and put jn his mouth..then only he will learn to chew..sont give puree or mashed food..baby is grown up and has teeth..so he needs to learn chewing...finger food will encourage self feeding also. happy parenting
