Q.

#AskTheExpert My son having fever. As per Pediatrics suggested, giving paracetamol 4ml every 6 hours. Today is the third day, but I don't see any improvements. Like fever shoots up at the end of every 6 hours. Is this okay? Shall I wait for 2 more days? If continues, when should I seek Dr again? Fever temp range 99 to 100.2. Please advise.

A. Don’t worry sometimes viral fever takes five days to subside so continue giving medicine on regular intervals and give more liquids to the baby and sponge bath can ge given and avoid over clothing the baby and give light to digest foods and fruits
