#asktheexpert my son don't do potty daily? he is 6.6 years, he does alternate days, is it fine?

A. if the consistency of the stool is normal that is semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency of the stool. the frequency can vary for 4 to 5 times per day and sometimes the child will not pass stool for few days also. also do no worry abdout colour and smell of the stool when stool consistency is semisolid to solid. you have to meet the dr only if it is totally watery stool or it is hard stool or the child is having pain while passing the stool.

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. Please give prune juice to the baby to relieve from constipation and gas. Also give fiber rich food items like soups and salads to the baby. Please increase water intake of the baby. Also boil saunf pudina and ajwain in water and give that water to the baby on cooling off.
