Q.
#AskTheExpert My son coughing too much. He had fever for a day or two, later fever reduced completely and now cough became more. He is not able to control and manage cough. Consulted doctor recommended paracetamol syrup, Maxtra syrup and Ascoril syrup. From 2 days we putting this syrup, but cough is not reducing still.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cough and Cold should be treated only after a proper examination by a doctor as there may be some associated factor .
As the first line of treatment you can give steam inhalgfation which would be helpful .
Cough Syp should be given only after a proper evaltuation .
