A. Your newborn son (born on 8th February 2025) waking up suddenly and crying badly could be due to several common reasons: Possible Causes & Solutions: 1️⃣ Hunger – Babies have small stomachs and may wake up hungry. Try feeding him and see if he calms down. 2️⃣ Gas or Colic – If he cries uncontrollably, gently massage his tummy in a circular motion, burp him after feeds, or try giving him a warm bath. 3️⃣ Diaper Discomfort – Check if his diaper is wet or soiled and change it if needed. 4️⃣ Temperature Issues – Ensure he is not too hot or cold. Dress him in comfortable clothing based on the room temperature. 5️⃣ Sudden Reflex (Moro Reflex) – Newborns sometimes get startled in their sleep. Swaddling can help them feel secure. 6️⃣ Overtiredness – If he’s too tired, he may cry before sleeping. Try soothing him by rocking, patting, or playing soft music. If the crying is excessive, high-pitched, or accompanied by fever, vomiting, or breathing issues, consult a pediatrician immediately. Otherwise, it's normal for newborns to wake up and cry—it will improve with time. Let me know if you need more help!
