#AskTheExpert My partner is 3.5months pregnent, sometimes she feels the pain and stretch like feeling in her lower abdomen. What would be reason and what should be tje remedies to deal with it ?

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. If she has clothes 12 weeks then the size of the uterus will be very small and it is unlikely that it is causing any pain. There could be Braxton Hicks contractions or they could be stretch off the round ligament that could be doing this and it will go away on its own. As a pregnancy progresses if the stretch increases then she can use a Tummy belt to support the pregnant uterusWrite Your Answer Here

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr old girl4 years agoA. Pain can be normal at times. But not all pains especially in early days of pregnancy. So I will suggest you to see your doctor and follow their advise. That would be one of the best and safest option for you as of now as doctors know our health n body well
