Q.

#AskTheExpert My one month old baby holds her hands near her mouth tightly while having milk. And she uses her full strength to hold anything in that range. At the same time she drinks the milk as well and some milk drain out of her mouth during breast feeding. is this hand holding normal ?

A. such type of behaviour always decreases with increasing age of the child and it is very common behaviour at this age. with proper diversion and getting the child engaged in another things will help in ddecreasing such behaviour. meet your doctor for more advice and also share the video of such behaviour with the doctor.
