Q.

#asktheexpert My newborn is underweight.She is 25 days old and weighs 2 kg. She is unable to breast feed directly.How can I make her breast feed and how often should I feed her?

A. You can give skin-to-skin sessions (Kangaroo care) to the baby. This will improve your breast milk and also encourage the baby to breastfeed. You have to feed once every two hours or as per the baby's need. Your baby should be peeing anywhere between six to ten times a day which means he is taking feeds properly. If not you should consult with ur doctor.
