#asktheexpert My lo is passing loose motion from morning. will it also happen due to heat?

A. Yes, It might happen due to heat, keep the child hydrated with lot of fluids.

A. kindly give ors(oral rehydration solution) for every episode of loose motion and give simple diet made from rice dal and khichdi curd buttermilk apple banana and the natural probiotics from the curd will help in decreasing the loose motion and if it is not improving in one or two days then kindly meet your doctor. also you cannot give outside mxilk and cerelac also but you can continue to give breastfeeding if going on for next few days. avoid giving sweet sugary food as well as maida and biscuits, chxocolate, icecream, packet foods cerelac. other food which can be given are poha daliya upma mamra idli.

If it is a proper sunstroke when your child would have had vomiting also and fever also not only lose motions so I think it may be either due to indigestion or some kind of a stomach infection so to be more sure about the reason you will have to get a check with your doctor onesWrite Your Answer Here
