#asktheexpert my kid is not eating fruits. how to change this habit

A. as food for the baby you can give all kind of seasonal fruits and vegetables. you can give Apple everyday .can also give mango , pomegranate,papaya and banana according to the season and requirement . avoid giving banana excessively and daily otherwise it may cause constipation. you can also give rice preparations oatmeals curd preparationsband daliya. it will be better if you are able to give dairy products daily apart from milk. refrigerated and packed foods should be avoided, junk foods should also be avoided. if you will give excessive of milk to the child the hunger may get satisfied by that and the child may not be interested in having other variety of food. over all you need to see that you are giving a balanced diet to your child with proper fulfillment of xkgnutritional and energy requirements according to the age

A. Hello dear parent! Lead by example. Sit with your child and start taking different fruits and encourage your child to have a bite or 2. Involve your child in family meals to learn healthy eating by looking at family members. Be patient and persistent in your efforts. Good luck and take care.
