#AskTheExpert #Mamypoko my baby is eating wall and sand now...please advise is this any deficiency or what should I do to change this new habit

A. yes, It sounds like 'Pica'. Pica is an eating disorder that is quite common among young ones..The disorder is defined as persistent and compulsive cravings to eat nonfood items....It is due to calcium or iron deficiency in babies... please do c onsult ur Paedritician

A. It should be some deficiency. If it continues, I feel It's better to check with your doctor and follow their advise. That would be one of the best and safest option for your baby as of now.
