#asktheexpert my kid[baby boy] is 45 days old and he is weighing more than 5kgs now , wanted to know the if this weight gain is fine . note: feeding only on baby's demand.

In the first 10 days, a baby will lose 10% of the body weight in there after Will start gaining 20 to 30 g per day. As the baby on exclusive breast-feeding, the weight gain seems to be fine . No harm in Consulting your Doctor.
