Q.

#AskTheExpert my family fully has been affected by severe fever,sore throat,body pain..now our baby who is 10 months old ( she is 2 months premie) is having temperature at 102 degree

A. The first medicine will always be paracetamol and it is given according to weight and power of paracetamol medicine you are having. Give liquids and easily digestible food and paracetamol should be given only after food. Keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is is having fever Armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as fever To body sponge to decrease the surface temperature and should be carried out for at least 20 minutes with normal temperature water. Higher medicines whether required or not will be told by the doctor.

A. Hello dear parent! Please consult your child’s doctor for a personal evaluation and seek further advice. Maintain a good personal hygiene and follow your doctor’s advice diligently. Continue feeding your baby well on demand. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug daily massage oil.
