Q.

#asktheexpert My daughter will turn 3 months old on the 23rd September. She is exclusively breastfed. If I have some work outside for an hour or 2, how can I keep my pumped milk for her? I don't know how to store it. Please help.

A. hi dear recommend that infants be exclusively breastfed for about the first 6 months WHO and UNICEF recommend that children initiate breastfeeding within the first hour of birth and be exclusively breastfed for the first 6 months of life – meaning no other foods or liquids are provided, including water. Infants should be breastfed on demand – that is as often as the child wants, day and night.
