#asktheexpert my daughter was two months old and she didn't passed her motion past 4 days.what should I do

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. The important thing is the consistency of the stool so if it is semi solid to solid do not worry about the frequency of stool passage by the child.
It can vary from once in 10 days also and sometimes maybe around 6 to 7 times per day also.z
If the consistency of the stool is hard then only you have to visit the doctor.
the crying as well as irritability is mainly due to colic pain and not due to constipation. z

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. Kids can go without pooping for 7 to 10 days in this age which is considered very normal for them as constipation is completely fine in this age if your child takes all the feeds properly and the urine is good then there is no problem in this
