Q.

#AskTheExpert my daughter turned 1 recently. I was giving 0.5ml of iron and calcium supplement. should I continue the same or increase the dosage??

A. hi my baby was 11.5 month old .. but teething not start yet. already I'm giving vit D drop.and she is on cows milk from 8 month onwards.. so can I give calcium syrup ? she didn't like calcimax taste .. kindly refer any other calcium syrup and iron syrup. now I'm giving these drops dwick vit d drop zirconia kidicare

A. Academy of Pediatrics recommends infants who only consume breast milk get an iron supplement of 1 milligram for every kilogram of body weight starting at 4 months old. If your infant gets iron-fortified formula, a supplement may not be necessary. Talk with your doctor to see if your baby needs more iron.
