#AskTheExpert my daughter seems to be underweight, she is 15kg now. she eats very less every, I am worried she might be missing key nutrients. any suggestions to increase her appetite and hunger?

A. Low appetite can be due to reasons like low zinc levels or too much dairy products or less gap between meals etc. Include ajwain , ginger, lemon or carrot juice, coconut water, curd with mint in the kid's meals to boost the appetite. South Indian rasam will also increase the appetite. Or u can get some zinc syrup prescribed from your pediatrician.
