#AskTheExpert my daughter keep rubbing her feet at night and get disturbed during sleep . only when we apply oil or keep rubbing her feet . she is sleeping . it's happening for 1 week . she will never get disturbed in sleep usually.. but recently as a part of therapy we were asked to wilbarger porotcol only after that we are experiencing this ..

A. hello dear as u said u r going through this wilbarger therapy so these can be because of it only As you know, the Wilbarger brushing protocol involves a lot of deep pressure and sensory stimulation. More often than not, they are applying this technique with kiddos who have sensory challenges and are really sensitive to sensory input. If done incorrectly, the Wilbarger brushing protocol could actually aggravate and worsen sensory issues instead of calming and improving them.ao its better u should inform ur doctor each and every detail of this
