U Have consulted and ice specialist for your child so I am sure the doctor would not recommend you anything wrong if you don’t trust the doctor then change the doctor because you know this way for every medicine if you going to doubt the doctor then that’s not going to be good at the doctors know their job better than we do she should trust your doctor and go ahead with it
