#AskTheExpert My daughter is one year old and have fair skin but after her first birthday her skin color is changed and turned dark. What should I do?

A. Skin tone is genetically inherited. The baby's skin colour keeps changing until the baby gets it's natural skin colour - this happens because more of the natural pigment that gives it colour - melanin is produced. Massage your kid with coconut oil before bath and this helps.
