#asktheexpert My daughter is now 1 yr 2.5 month old. She is suffering constipation

A. The problem of constipation will decrease with proper diet modification that is plenty of water and fibre diet and try to give more papaya oats and fennel seeds water to the child. You may have to give a course of constipation medicine to the child to stabilize the child from the pain. Constipation usuallyd decreases with increasing age of the child and medicines give only symptomatic relief.

You should give more of fibres and liquids to the child into their diet from the age of seven months onwards so that they can have good hydration in the body the digestion is proper with which only you will see the motion is also going to be good otherwise you can give any basic laxative to clear the stomach as of now
