#asktheexpert my daughter is having red rash on her back she is 9 months old. I showed to dr and she gave one lotion to apply but still she gets the rashes. Please advise

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 8 yr 3 m old boy5 years agoA. take a follow up with the doctor because many times there is a possibility that the gel might have caused aggravation of the problem because many times Rash has to be differentiated from allergy as well as heat oriented

SantoMom of a 8 yr 11 m old girl5 years agoA. I feel. It can be due to heat or she might have a heat body leave skin free. Give bathe twice a day and maintian good hygiene keep kid well hydrated too. Mostly these kind will disappear on its own don't worry It will usually go on its own. Just monitor and check. If I doesn't disappear or if it spreading you can see your doctor. Its good to Leave skin free to heal faster. Don't apply lotions or creams or anything
