#AskTheExpert my daughter is having blocked nose and having difficulty in breathing specially at night during sleeping. she is 2 yrs and 6 months old. I have put saline water in her nose . what should i do for better relief.thanks in advance.

Use a clean humidifier or cool mist vaporizer.
Use saline nasal spray or drops.
For young children, use a rubber suction bulb to clear mucus.
Breathe in steam from a bowl of hot water or shower.

Nihita mittalMom of 4 children3 years agoA. good morning before putting the child to bed I would recommend that you should apply baby Vicks rub on the nose of the child this will help to provide relief from the problem of nose blockage
