A. It’s common for children, especially toddlers and young kids, to show more tantrums with their mother than with others. This happens because they feel most safe and secure with you, and so they express their true emotions freely. It’s a sign of trust, but it can be exhausting. Stay calm and consistent in your responses. Set clear boundaries and stick to them. Avoid giving in during tantrums, but give lots of positive attention when she behaves well. Try to understand the triggers—hunger, tiredness, boredom—and prevent them when possible. Over time, she will learn better ways to express her feelings.
