Q.

#AskTheExpert My daughter is almost 4 years old but still she can't walk . She was a premature baby and her weight was 950gm during birth ..Please suggest but should b do ..many Doctor advised for exercise but it also not working ...

A. a baby will start Sitting with support by 6 months of age and by 7 to 8 months baby will sit without support than by 9 months usually baby crawls and in 10 months baby will stand with support. After 12 to 15 monthsgg baby will start Walking independently and sometimes it may take even longer but in no case any Walker should be avoided as it cany cause recurrent fall injury and delay in the walking because the child lacks confidence of walking independently.

A. Hi mom This is due to low birth weight.. Continue with the exercise as said by ur doctor. Also massage ur baby legs and give calcium rich food like milk paneer curd cheese etc for strong bones and muscles of the baby.
